Comments like this are the reason this province will remain third rate in this country...instead of focusing on things that matter (i.e. business, education, attracting foreign investment)...we continue to focus on the anglo/franco rivalry....its not the 70`s...wake up.

Pot, Kettle.
Should I think, by your stupid comment, that all anglos are stupid and their stupidity affects the performance of our Province?
Or should you realize that ONE comment by a franco who generalizes in a bigoted way is not the same as what all francos think, and thus not a consequence of why our province would be "third rate", if that even means anything?
As for your third rate comment, please look at what the province, with all of its inhabitants, has realized in 50 years. We can now compare ourselves (happily or not) with the ROC, whereas 50 years ago, we were in the dark ages.
As a franco, I can see how generalizing anglo-québécois is moronic. Yet, you did almost the same thing with francos.
I'll go along with my own generalization: I prefer anglos from Quebec to anglos from the ROC. I feel that appart from the language, anglos and francos from Québec are way closer in opinion about anything else than language.

Not much my friend, not much. Oh wait you're right: 50 yrs ago we might've had dirt roads but now we have collapsing bridges, the longest waiting time at the ER, cheapest tuition fees with the highest dropout rates, and we're taxed through the roof. The future doesn't look too good if you ask me.
Remember this: TO only prospered because Mtl squandered the opportunity to become the "NYC of the North"...

il y a 13 ansHow important the Formation Continue is. Had this existed in Brent’s day, he would have known better than to contest Bill 101 based on the Charter. Had he pleaded instead that Bill 101 violated the separation of powers under the Constitution, he would have won without the possibility of using the Notwithstanding clause or other Bill 101ish attempts such as Bill 178.
Let this be a lesson: pay attention at your formation continue!
And I agree with GBS. Anglos in Quebec are a bunch of babies.
