Not impressed...
il y a 8 ansDear Droit-inc.:
Publishing this article is in bad taste. This woman, a former consoeur, clearly has issues and must be living through hell with a 2 year old daughter, being reduced to having to steal clothes from Wal-Mart for her child.
Have a modicum of compassion, take down this story and stick to hard hitting journalism about stagiaires getting jobs.
Sincerely, disgusted

il y a 8 ansWhy is it that Simons is store of choice for shoplifting lawyers? May she was inspired by reading all those articles about Lu Chan on Droit Inc.

il y a 8 ansIf you're not going to post about the "everyday Joe" who gets caught stealing, then give her a break. She is a former consoeur and therefore a regular individual now who is going through a hard time... give the woman a break and stay out of her affairs. Why has this even been brought to your attention?

Lawyer
il y a 8 ansStop treating her like a victim, will ya? Whatever happened to accountability?
She threw her career out the window by being high as a kite on cocaine in Montmagny where she collapsed in court and by frolicking with her biker clients who provided her with all the various drugs she indulged in. Instead of seeking help when it was time, she dug herself a deeper hole.
And when she managed to escape somewhat scot-free from that episode, she moved to another region and decided to commit more crimes.
She chose this life, she's gonna have to deal with the consequences.
As an attorney who abides by the law, I don't care if those who don't get exposed for what they are - bad apples who give the good ones a bad names.

il y a 8 ansYou clearly don't know her story. But hey, right wing blowhards typically don't let facts get in the way.
Lawyer
il y a 8 ansThat's the thing, I DO know her story.
But hey, resorting to personal attacks (right wing blowhard? Really? That's the best you could come up with?) is always the trademark of mature debaters.

il y a 8 ansYou know the story? Really? Even the part that was deemed confidential and wasn't related in the disciplinary decision?
Yeah, I didn't think so, but hey, why trip yourself up with the facts?
So typical, you think you know because you read summaries on this site, you claim to know, but you don't. Ultimately, for you addicts are criminals, end of story. Nothing to add, no mercy, no compassion.
I don't waste my time "debating" those who are so intimately acquainted with the truth in their minds. Yeah, right wing blowhard and all that's implied in that.
